Job Description

​​Source is seeking a talented person who is driven to push the boundaries of the status quo and explore the unknown. As a Marketing & Communication Specialist, your focus will be to develop and execute marketing (70%) and communication (30%) strategies, using the full marketing mix, that drive sales and business objectives in key markets and help to bring Source’s story to the relevant audiences and wider public. In this role, you will have the opportunity to tell impactful stories about why and how we are changing the way we grow fresh produce, while you will play a key role in determining how we effectively communicate our vision externally, by advocating, educating and inspiring different stakeholders.

You will report to the VP of Revenue, with whom you’ll collaborate closely to drive our commercial adoption and business development through marketing.


What we'd love you to get excited about

The role will consist on developing and executing Marketing (70%) and External Communications (30%) strategies. Specifically, you will:

1. B2B Marketing

  • Design and drive the marketing strategy and initiatives, including campaigns, channels (e.g. paid digital, paid social, events, webinars, email), KPIs and assets across the funnel (awareness, consideration, sales, loyalty), that lead to high quality sales leads;

  • Work with different teams to develop, write and edit communications and marketing materials, including website copy, case studies, blog posts, and webinars. Your goal will be to enable Source to get exposure to >500k unique views within the target audience per quarter;

  • Design and execute a proactive content strategy that can be used across different channels;

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to align with marketing and business goals (earned and paid strategies).


2. External Communications
  • Develop proactive PR and social media programmes/campaigns including announcements, thought leadership topics and compelling story angles;

  • Build relationships with leading trade, business and tech publications. Educate them about Source, greenhouse agriculture and the role it can play in the global food system;

  • Prepare briefing/ speaker materials and support spokespeople as necessary.

  • Work closely with our Business Development and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment of our external communications.



Requirements

You have

  • 4-6 years of experience in managing B2B marketing strategies in a tech-driven/ startup environment;

  • Native Dutch and excellent English communication skills;

  • Experience with account based marketing, communications, media relations and social media;

  • Ability to think quickly, pivot when necessary, and thrive in fast-moving environments;

  • Ability to work in a collaborative way and be an effective team player with high-standards for quality and detail;

  • Proven experience or affinity with technology, food/ agriculture, sustainability space;

  • Experience within an international business ecosystem (clients, markets, companies).
